സ്നേഹം രണ്ടുപേരിൽ കെട്ടിക്കിടക്കുന്ന സ്വാർത്ഥതയല്ല. രണ്ടുപേരുടെ സ്നേഹം സൃഷ്ടിപരമാകണം. അതു രണ്ടിൽ നിന്നു വളരുന്നു. ഭാര്യാഭർതൃസ്നേഹത്തിൻ്റെ ഫലങ്ങളാണ് മക്കൾ. ഈ പ്രപഞ്ചത്തിൽ ജീവൻ്റെ  ഭാവി ഭാര്യാഭർത്താക്കന്മാരിലാണു ദൈവം നിക്ഷേപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. “ഇതാ, ഇന്നു ഞാൻ നിൻ്റെ മുമ്പിൽ ജീവനും നന്മയും, മരണവും തിന്മയും വച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു” (ആവർത്തനം 30:15). ജീവൻ്റെ  മാർഗം നാം തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കണം.
Love is not a selfish feeling kept between two people. The love between two people should be creative and life-giving. It should grow beyond the two of them. Children are the fruit of the love between husband and wife. God has placed the future of human life in the hands of husbands and wives. “See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction” (Deuteronomy 30:15). We must choose the path of life.
