യേശുവിനെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള നിത്യനൂതനമായ അറിവിൻ്റെ അണയാദീപമാണ് പരിശുദ്ധ പിതാവ് ബെനഡിക്ട് മാർപാപ്പയുടെ നസറത്തിലെ യേശു എന്ന ഗ്രന്ഥം. അതിൻ്റെ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരണത്തിനു മുൻപേ മാധ്യമങ്ങൾ പുറത്തുവിട്ട അഭിപ്രായങ്ങൾ അറിയാനിടയായി. അന്ന് മുതൽ ഗ്രന്ഥം വായിക്കാനുള്ള മോഹമുദിച്ചു. പല വാല്യങ്ങളിലും വലുപ്പത്തിലുമുള്ള ഗ്രന്ഥം വായിച്ചപ്പോളാണ് നമ്മുടെ സാധാരണ ദൈവജനത്തിന് ഗ്രഹിക്കാൻ അതെത്ര ദുഷ്കരമാണെന്ന് മനസിലായത്. പ്രസ്തുത തിരിച്ചറിവാണ് "യേശുവിനെ അടുത്തറിയാൻ" എന്ന ഈ പുനർവായനാഗ്രന്ഥത്തിലേക്ക് നയിച്ചത്.

Even before it was published, it attracted widespread attention, and I eagerly looked forward to reading it. After reading its multiple volumes, I realized that many ordinary readers might find it difficult to understand. This inspired the writing of "Yesuvine Aduthariyan" more closely a simplified retelling of its main ideas in clear, easy language, presented in a single volume so that more people can discover and understand Jesus.
